European Computer Driving License ( ECDL ) Training

ECDL training overview

The European Computer Driving License (ECDL) is a European-wide qualification in IT competence. Governments and local computer societies in each member country back it. In the UK the ECDL is managed by the British Computer Society (BCS).

The ECDL is designed for those who wish to gain a basic qualification in computing to help them with their current job, develop their IT skills and enhance their career prospects. It assumes no previous experience of IT or computer skills.

ECDL Syllabus

The ECDL syllabus covers key computing concepts in seven modules. Each module is studied separately and each module must be passed before the award of a ECDL certificate. ECDL modules can be studied in any order and at any time within a three year period. This makes the course very flexible to student needs.
