ECDL training module 7 - Information and Communication ECDL module 7 introduces the impact the computer has had on communication. In particular it covers the internet and e-mails , what they are and how to use them. At the end of module 7 a candidate is expected to understand: - What is the internet and what it is used for.
- How to search, find and use web sites on the internet.
- What is email.
- How to create and send email.
- How to receive and organise email.
The course covers: - Getting started with the internet.
- Web navigation.
- Using search engines.
- Bookmarks.
- Email basics.
- Setting up address lists.
- Organising messages.
Course duration 1 day or 5 sessions of 1.5hrs. We are able to offer this course during normal working hours or outside normal working hours. Course prerequisites: The course does not require the delegate to have any previous knowledge of personal computers. |
